Publicly accessible living roofs
Here is a list of places around the world, where you can go and see a green roof close up.
Sweden
Malmö: Augustenborg Botanical Roof Garden is available for visits during office hours. Guided tours can be booked. Address and other information available here.
UK
London: All ground-level parks at Canary wharf are in fact built on top of underground buildings, and are therefore roof gardens! The techniques used to build them are the same as on top of a higher building, and so shows what can be done also higher up.
